I was drinking my Yakult happily when Mayora Gori alerted me to this headline from the New Paper. *sprays juice all over screen*

If you're not a Singaporean, you might find this post obscure. What's wrong with gays? Is being gay wrong? Well, it's not wrong, at least to me. Now, this is some kind of moral/ethical topic that could go on for light years and I'm not interested in that.
Here's some background:
As according to Section 377A of the Penal Code, generally speaking (very general), it's not legal to have gay sex. But hey, it's not as if every neighborhood has an ambassador to check on the sexual preference of every resident.
In any case, my highlight here is the headline itself.
... Gay MP? (MP means member of Parliament)
Who said that he's gay? Hands up if you thought the headlines was directed at the Indian dressed in red.
Upon a simple investigation, it can be easily deduced that New Paper took the term from a STOMPer who took the literal meaning of the man's sarcastic words -"future gay MP, Vincent Wijeysingha".
I'd be gay to post the link to the video of this "gay forum" but from the looks of it, it'll probably be taken down within these couple of days. If you are really keen on listening to the man, you could try searching 'Vincent Wijeysingha - Gay agenda' on Youtube. Good luck and have a gay week ahead.
Wiping my 20" screen quietly, peace out.
Update: I've digged out the origins for this chronicle. Enjoy.
